Ich wollte schon immer meine persönliche Hitparade der besten LP's erstellen. Eine Liste der Top 50 aller Zeiten. Unmöglich dachte ich. Wie soll man vergleichen ? Wo sind die Ebenen, auf denen sich die Beatles mit Britney Spears oder Anastacia mit Elvis messen können ? Wo die Ansatzpunkte zwischen Korn und Reinhard Mey ? Gibt es für einen erklärten Roger Waters - Fan etwas anderes als zumindest die fünf besten Pink Floyd Alben in die Top 50 zu nehmen ? Der Gedanke liess mich nicht mehr los und ich habe mich an das Unterfangen gewagt. Einerseits weil es eine Herausforderung an die eigene Ehrlichkeit ist ( wer gibt schon zu, dass er Alexandra, Flippers, Nicki und wie sie alle heissen, hört ), zum anderen ist es ein sehr intimes Wiederhören mit Erinnerungen und Erlebnissen. Klar, denn objektiv ist nichts an meiner Liste. Nichts von dem, was aus Prestigegründen vorne dabei sein müsste. Kein Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix oder Led Zeppelin. Dafür Väle, der geniale Musik macht, aber den fast kein Schwein kennt. Die Alben in meiner Liste sind "Meisterwerke", nämlich eine Art Soundtrack meines Lebens. Dabei ist eine bunte Mischung verschiedenster Stile herausgekommen. Schaut selber.
